I purchased a 2008 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in October of 2022.  I live in NC and purchased the vehicle from Action Auto based in Utah.  I was sent reports detailing the car was in perfect working condition both mechanically and physically.  When I received the vehicle the Automatic winch, fog lights, and several other aftermarket items were not functional.  When I initially called to see if they would rectify this I was told that Utah is a buyer beware state and there is nothing they could do.  If this were the only issue I would not be writing my first review in my 45 years but this transaction became an absolute nightmare.  I did not like the jeep from the moment it was delivered and I asked if they would purchase back the car which of course came with a no.  I then attempted to sell the car on my own, I finally found a buyer for $23,500 and went to the NC DMV to get the car titled in my name so I can retitle to the new owner.  I spent 4 days and countless hours at the DMV and the message was the same each time, Action Auto did not have the chain of title correct and the vehicle should have never been sold without proper titling. I spoke to Jason, the owner of Action Auto who swore he did everything right on his end and it must be something with NC DMV laws.  I let him know that if he did not know the Titling Laws of the states he is selling to he probably should not be selling to those states.  I asked him to please purchase the vehicle back from me as I can not legally get it titled in my name which would enable me to see it.  He offered my 18k due to "depreciation" during the 8 months I had the car even though there was not 1 additional mile put on the car since delivery.  Jason wound up having me send back the Title, Titling it in Action Autos name and then Titling in my name.  This process took 8 weeks during which time I lost my buyer.  I asked Jason if he would cover the difference between the 23,500k I had a contract with and what I wound up selling for which of course came with a no.  this has cost me an unbelievable amount of time and money due to the dishonesty and incompetency of Action Auto.  I urge any out of state buyers to please look for your car anywhere else.

The PERFECT Example!

You no doubt wanted a good, dependable car. Here's how YOU went about this process: You send off your money to somebody you don't know to buy some stupid USED car you've NEVER seen, you've NEVER, test driven. you've NEVER checked for body damage, paint quality or fit and finish, you've NEVER heard the engine run, you've NEVER felt how the transmission shifts, you've NEVER check each and every accessory for proper operation, you've NEVER checked for interior damage, you've never checked tire condition. Instead, you rely on pictures on a computer screen which you don't even know if it's the same car, words on a computer screen and a voice on the phone of somebody you don't know! The car comes and surprise, surprise it's junk! You have alot more wrong here than a junk car! It's called an incredible LACK OF COMMON SENSE! You just had to have THAT car so badly, you threw COMMON SENSE out the window. Your tongue was hanging out so far for a stupid car you would accept anything and they knew it! It is absolutely incredible an adult would do something as STUPID as this and then cry, whine and stomp their feet because of the end result anyone with half a brain would never consider doing.
