I had an account with Affirm in 2017 for around $2,000 which I paid off in full in around 5 months. Never was late. Starting around last February I started getting phone calls as early as 3 to 6 AM in the morning from Affirm sayinf "Secure Your Account" If I didn't answer they would send me a text message and leave a voice mail.

This continued for several weeks. I did everything to try to stop the calls. I called the company, I called ATT, I tried to block these calls on my phone but they kept coming through. Then I got a text saying that my order for this particular color of an item was approved.

The problem with that is I never ordered anything and financed it through Affirm since 2017. So I concluded that if I was getting all these calls about securing my account and calls about an order I didn't place I figured someone must have ordered something in my name.

I called the company again. The calls go to Colombia or Costa Rica. These people really can't do anything except pass on the information I provided. But they did say there was around $1,000.00 charged to my account. That wasn't me.

I finally got a email from some one at Affirm on February 3rd, saying that after they looked into it they could see someone hacked into my account. See email next paragraph:

"Hi Jan,

We are writing to you in response to your unauthorized dispute claim and have completed our investigation. Our review has concluded a resolution in your favor. Rest assured, you will not be held responsible for the Affirm loan(s) (loan IDs KK65-4QRH, HBHX-VYQC, L5RX-7YUX) made in your name and the loan(s) will not be reported to Experian.

We have also placed restrictions on this Affirm account from obtaining any future loans.

We sincerely appreciate you contacting us regarding this unauthorized activity. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please do not hesitate to contact Affirm again with any additional questions you may have.

Best Regards,

END

Starting in the last two weeks I have been getting text messages from Affirm. One said that I should set up automatic payments for my up-commig payments that will be due. Then I got texas saying that a payment is dure soon. Yesterday and today I got a text saying " Hi Jan we are missing your loan payment. Please Pay.

Two weeks ago I again called Affirm and told them about these new text messages. Again the call was routed to Costa Rica. The person said don't worry about the text messages since you received the other email. But how can I not worry if I am now getting texts messages saying I missed a payment on something I never even charged as I was hacked. I have perfect credit and I am thinking of filing a lawsuit against Affirm.

First of all when I started getting all those calls in the middle of the night Affirm used many different phone numbers from the USA. When I complained about all those calls the company told me that we don't make calls like that. And our calls would be from a 855 or 866 number.

I have told the company please close my account. I don't want anything to do with a company like Affirm.
