     I attended A.I.U. of Los Angeles in 2005 and 2006, I was very excited and was told that the instructors were current in the field of study that the students were taking and would have experience-based training through my course of study. As well as be placed in the field of study after graduating from the program. Each quarter, my books and out-of-pocket tuition costs seemed to increase after taking out two Sallie MAE FFELP Loans. I began to hear graduating students complaining about how they were not getting jobs in their current field of study. I was then reassured by the administration staff that the school was in good standing. I left A.I.U. due to the increasing out-of-pocket cost per quarter despite the enormous loan of $11,718.00 for a program that I did not complete. Eventually, I moved on to attend another school and was not able to retrieve my transcripts from the school due to the school saying I owed them a balance. I moved away and years later was told there was a class action lawsuit against the school which I was never sent any information regarding. I have been paying on this loan for many years and I am disappointed with how school organizations like these get away with defrauding the government and students who continue to pay these fees for services that are not rendered. The school received all of their money upfront and the student is left holding the bag. I was hopeful that my student loan would be forgiven but there are so many scams it remains eventful.
