Buyer beware! This store manage is a complete fraud and unethical operation. I am out over $900 in expense budget that they frauded me out of in my purchase. I work on several houses in Barrhaven Ontario (Ottawa) and buy paint on a regular basis for flipping homes in rennovations, renting properties to tenants and other real estate. By the end of my conversation by phone, our team had purchased 100 gallons of Aurora premium paint and eight larger pails of ceiling paint to be picked up by our painters. The purchase was made by visa on the phone and the painters were to pick it up.

This project on Strandherd Drive and Longfield Drive had to get done by a certain date. The painters only arrived with 45% of the paint delivered. I called about the remaining paint and they confirmed that they had not provided it. AT FIRST: I am constantly getting told that they do not have enough base paint  in stock to MIX PAINT. The manager cannot operate a simple local store good enough to keep product in stock!!! Warning! They won't even be able to sell you paint because they can't keep their own base to mix the colour you want in stock!

After those excuses, I kept calling for the remaining paint and they switched to lying. I been told I already received the remaining paint on the day, after confirming it never went out the door with the painters.

To make it worse and being out the money. The painters regularly did not bring back a receipt on occasion and this is fine for one receipt. The other two just happened to get damaged during the ride over, They are contractors and contractors spill coffee and paint, other stuff accidentially messed up their copy of receipts. You see this all the time on the construction site where paper has coffee or water marks. It's normal.

When I called for a simple thing: Could you please print off a second copy of the receipt? The manager had no idea WHOM was calling with this request. I was told, I quote, "To go f*ck myself that we provide customers with a receipt at the time of purchase and this is not our problem." (without knowing the person on the other end of the phone) Then he proceeded to tell me that "We don't solve other people's problems and unless you have a lawyer or legal request for a quick print off list of the expenses. I won't be going to my computer and clicking print to give you a receipt." A simple task!

I do not know how many companies you have dealt with in your life. I did not find the request to print off a receipt that got lost or damaged much of a request. Are you telling me that I need to FILE WITH MY LAWYER TO REQUEST A RECEIPT JUST TO GET MY YEAR END FISCAL ACCOUNTING DONE FOR TAXES? Can you imagine being told to f**k yourself and do that to be in compliance with the CRA after spending $4000-$6000 dollars on premium paint with a company?

WTF.

1. After being scammed and frauded out of paint at a decent number

2. Told anonymously to go f*ck myself for asking for a 2nd print off of my receipt that the painter damaged with coffee or water on the way over.

3. and unprofessionally told on regular occassion that I can't get paint due to not ordering in enough AURORA BASE PAINT to mix my request.

I AM F*CKING DONE WITH THIS COMPANY

and you should take your money elsewhere than Benjamin Moore - Silver Brook Paints on 3570 Strandherd Dr, Nepean (Ottawa), Ontario K2J 5L4 in Barrhaven. The manager is a fraud and scam not knowing how to operate a real business and cannot even stay on top of his own operations. He has lost money on having to constantly decline my request for paint. He has frauded me out of paint cans that were charged to my visa credit card. His conversations with anonymous strangers over the phone are vulgar and rude.
