Banister Ford of Marlow Heights They backed down on our agreement on the car value Suitland Maryland

On Wednesday, May 18, I visited Banister Ford of Marlow Heights to sell my vehicle. The manager on-site noticed that I did not complete the Kelly Blue Book value when he made it clear to me that what they used as standard price quotes on their vehicles.

I went back to the Kelly Blue Book and completed the price rating of what a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu Lt is worth, and it gave me a final number and congratulated me for finishing the process. My car was worth $11,254 and quote is good until May 25. I told Ms. Shana to give me a couple days to think about selling my vehicle.

So today, May 21, I called Ms. Shana to let her know that I am ready to seal the deal and I'm on my way there. Anyways, Ms. Shana asked me to have a seat to finish up with another customer, and I waited for about 20 minutes. She called me up to talk to another manager on site who decided to reduced the car value down because he claimed that they do not use Kelly Blue Book Values and that my car is not worth $11,254.

I told him that is not what your previous manager told me a couple days ago and he should honor what was agreed to because it's unethical to treat your customer this way with coming up with new quotes from Carmax. It's not my fault that your management team do not follow your guidelines. The manager today said that they are a small business that can't afford to lose money, and he suggested that I go directly to Carmax to sell my car.

Here is the problem on Banister of Ford's website says that they pay $1,000 above the Kelly Blue Book Value that the manager today said that they do not use the Kelly Blue Book values. Basically, they are doing false advertisements to lure customers to their business. My recommendation to any customer is to keep driving by this business and find a dealership that you can trust.
