Bare Mobility, a.k.a. baremobility.com, is an internet storefront claiming to specialize in posture correction and physical therapy products for which their prices are lower than you'll find anywhere else but high enough to still be borderline plausible (important touch, that). Of course, they're not actually selling anything. They're just using people's medical distress to swindle them out of money, period. In other words, they're sub-human scum who should be hurled into prison where they get a$$-raped to death by eight foot linebackers.

At least that's been my experience. I ordered an upper back posture brace from them in February 2022. They sent me a robo confirmation email stating: "Thanks for your order. It’s on-hold until we confirm that payment has been received." Seconds later PayPal sent me a seperate transaction record via email, so they had their confirmation right then. All this was followed by... crickets. No order fulfilment emails, nuthin.

After two weeks I emailed and messaged them, "hey, where's my stuff?" via every address I could find. No response. This is when I realized they have no other contact info of any kind-- no phone number, no physical address. I did a whois query for their domain and discovered the same thing. Every registrant field was blank except for country, which said "GB." "Great Britain" leapt to mind, but anyone legit would use "U.K." for that. Guinea-Bissau is the only country that matches this abbreviation. If they really are in sub-Saharan Africa, that's a red flag in itself-- the only "e-commerce" from that part of the world is money transfer scams.

If only I had looked into all this before ordering...

Another clear tip-off that they're scammers is the TINY number of products (16) they pretend to be selling. No one could run a real mail-order business selling so few small-ticket items. There's also no discussion of shipping fees whatsoever when ordering-- no statement of "free shipping," no options for getting the stuff faster. In other words, and like typical criminals, they're too lazy to even build a convincing illusion of a store.

I feel like such an A-hole in hindsight.

Anyway, I'm gonna alert PayPal, which will hopefully shut them down or at least get my money back.
