The following is true and factual and unbiased and is not made to slander but rather inform the public of a racist attack as this happens in all forms including fraudulent entertainment companies slandering and attacking with racist comments on permanent content sites.

Bloomington, Ind. - An 18-year-old Indiana University student is recovering from multiple stab wounds after a shocking attack on a public bus. Police have arrested a 56-year-old woman, Billie R. Davis, and charged her with attempted murder and aggravated battery.

According to authorities, the victim was standing near the exit when another passenger, later identified as Davis, began striking her repeatedly in the head. Bus surveillance footage revealed no prior interaction between the two women. A witness followed the attacker and alerted police, leading to Davis's apprehension.

Reports indicate Davis targeted the victim due to her race. Court documents quote her saying, "it would be one less person to blow up our country," referencing her motive. This incident highlights the rising tide of anti-Asian hate crimes across the nation, particularly since the pandemic began.

Indiana University Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs, James Wimbush, condemned the attack, emphasizing the importance of inclusivity and the harm such violence inflicts on individuals and communities. Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton echoed these sentiments, vowing to hold the perpetrator accountable and offering support to the targeted community.

This event serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of racial prejudice and highlights the need for continued efforts to combat hate and promote understanding.
