We hired Blue Diamond pools and ordered a new liner for our pool. We paid on 3/31/2020. We were told the liner would be in, in 3-6 weeks. The liner took until 5/20 to be installed. Also the owner Victor said he would do it and he sent his employees that are part timers to do it. He said he would come check the work and he never did. He then asked me for more money because of special circumstances that were never on the invoice. We paid for his professional services and he had workers do the work. He came back today and finally finished the work and we noticed a few issues with the liner. He also had not completed putting all the intake covers on the pool and rushed away for another job. Today when he came back to complete this he said it took longer and wanted more money. It is his fault he did not do it correctly the first time. He then said that we needed a new pump after telling us it was repairable. We tried to negotiate the price etc. for the pump and he just kept asking for more money. He then asked for more money claiming the invoice was not paid. I realized this is not true. When you say $ 3,000.00 for liner and install, that should cover any circumstances involved, including removing the old liner.. My wife realized that we had paid him more then the invoice for the liner , and he wanted another $900.00. We never received any updated invoices, but they are real good at coming up with "special" charges. It is like he pulls charges out of thin air. They also make appointments and do not show up. None of us smoke and there are cigarette Butts all over our driveway. I even caught him urinating on my driveway next to his truck, when they know I have plenty of Bathrooms they could use. When we refused to pay them any more money since the job is not perfect and because they kept asking for more and more money, which is not on the invoice, they threatened us with collections. There ineptitude has all but ruined the beginning of our summer.

Update --I recently noticed that they cut the liner holes for the intake and returns to big.  We can see the foam underlayment and now have to patch these holes.

Thank heavens that we found through Leslies Pool Supply a Pool repair company that has saved us at a reasonable price in regards to the filter system and piping.  The pump works fine and we are finally able to use our pool.
