I signed up with boost infinite in May. I bought a degoogle phone off eBay the seller stated that the phone would only work on T-Mobile network. I have other phones so I felt that I didn't think that I would need an unlimited plan. I started searching online and saw there was a new company called Boost Infinite and they used T-Mobile network. They had a $25.00 plan forever with 5 GB. 5 GB was enough for me because as I stated I have other phones. This company has been a night mare. As stated above the phone is a degoogle phone. The first week I had the phone turned on about every hour the phone was rebooting as if their were someone working on the backend of the phone. I wrote FCC and reported, after a few days the phone stopped rebooting automatically. Then I started noticing my data was being drained. I realized that someone was turning on roam from the backend. The phone hadn't left house so I didn't need the roam option. Instead of 5 GB they gave me 2 GB. I called Bounce Infinity and stated that my data was being drained the customer service person state that that was an usually amount of data being used. She looked to see were they having a problem with data being drained she can back and yes, they were having a problem with that she stated that she would noted my account. Will they must have a probably every month because my data renewed on July 3rd, 23 and today is July 7, 23 all my data is already gone.Every morning since my data renewed I wake up with the roam option on. After the data is all gone the roaming is never on in the morning.

July 4, 23, yes fourth of July holiday my phone internet went out. Sayed out until July 7, 23. So how could I have use even 2 GB of data when the phone internet went out the next day after my day was renewed.

As stated above this phone is degoogle phone. That mean no Google app's should be on the phone. Someone on the backend has disable all of the degoogle app's and added chrom on the phone. The only people that should be able to see what you are doing on the phone is the cell phone provider. I did all my research before I purchase the phone.

So who was brave enough to disable my F-roid app's are who did they allow to do.

This company is new but already deceptive.

Remember I have had the phone turned on 2 months ago. Called in to customer July 4,23 the rep stated that the phone was even setup correctly. She was correct called to customer service yesterday July 6,23. The company rep had to tell me what codes to put in never heard of this before. Where the company tells the customer what codes to put in this should have been done on the company end.

Your Fault

AUTHOR: Irv - (United States)

POSTED: Friday, July 07, 2023

You bought a phone from somebody you didn't know and you have ZERO IDEA of what type of spyware or hacks came with that phone. This ridiculousness of buying used stuff you've never seen, never used, never had checked out professionally from the internet is pure insanity. Do yourself a favor...GET SOME COMMON SENSE!!!! No, I don't work for "them"!
