I was contacted by Branding Nemo promising to build interest from an auto-biography book I wrote telling me my book had intrigue, adventure, and U.S. Government involvement in deceit and fraud.

Because of these features they had numerous movie production companies that would be interested in making because . They told me they had a company wanting to purchase my book for a movie and that this company is requiring a screen play.

Branding Nemo volunteered to write the screen play because this is what they do but it would cost me money for this service.

Branding Nemo keeps promise and then some

AUTHOR: Alfred - (United States)

POSTED: Saturday, January 18, 2020

Branding Nemo finished and sumbitted screenplay. I updated the screenplay after completing Screenplay online course. The screenplay has been sent to three movie companies Branding Nemo recommended.

They have gone beyond their original agreement and have produced my book beyond their promise. Great company.

Rebuttal So, you "we’re contacted by Branding Nemo”. I sense you feel they never should have called you In the first place. They "promised to build interest from an auto-biography book you wrote.” Sounds like another cookbook. Intrigue?

All books have intrigue. And what the hell does this mean? "U.S. Government involvement in deceit and fraud.” To tell you the truth, you don’t even sound like an author. You sound more like a conspiracy theorist with your own agenda. And this: "Branding Nemo volunteered to write the screen play because this is what they do but it would cost me money for this service.”

So, when they told you there would be a fee. You started yelling, "You aren't volunteering to do anything if you require a fee to do it. Volunteering expressly means there is no fee for performing a service. What they are doing is offering to write a screenplay for a fee.”

Hey Jim, , Get with the act. If by chance they may have said that word Volunteer over and over again, You are the problem. Go write a book, "Looking for a train wreck.” You said, "For starters, this company is buttering you up for something that may not be true.”

I am sorry your book sucks, But, there services are responsible for some huge successes. You also said, "They have access to production companies that are always interested in story lines, but no - there is no one waiting for yours.” Look, They got your pitch and decided you are not on their waiting list.

You suggest to everyone "take classes to learn how to write a screenplay yourself.” You make it sound so easy. I call that buttering up. You all but accused Branding Nemo of "taking control of the story and the screenplay in its entirety, they will steal the plot.”

You’re lucky you don’t get sued. And again, you said, "This is not a nice industry and people steal ideas, jokes, lines, etc.... and pawn them off as their own. Even the agents suck, which is why I use the term legitimate. Protect yourself, and best of luck.”

It reminds me of a prosecuted criminal who hates the police officer who made the arrests, the District Justice who held them over for trial, the prosecuting attorney, the Judge and probation officers. In other words , in the criminals mind, it’s the justice system that’s f****d up. And in your case, it’s the entire industry who is conspiring against you.

Not just Branding Nemo. I have been with Branding Nemo for nearly a year. The do process is in the works. I am humbled to have 9 "Production Company’s” show interest in obtaining the finished screenplay. That means they are waiting for my work. I began writing "Lottery” One of the worst threats to our National security” in 1988.

The screenplay, which we’re hoping to be complete before the end of this year has been in the works for 18 months. Let me tell you something, AUTHOR: Jim, or whatever your real name is. That’s the way the Industry works.

I very highly recommend Branding Nemo if your serious and are willing to work for it. And remember, Whether or not your work will sell is up to the eye’s that are beholding it. "The Production Company.” Anything can happen. And I wish everyone the best. Tony Matula Lebanon, Pennsylvania

Don't Do It

AUTHOR: Jim - (United States)

POSTED: Thursday, October 31, 2019

For starters, this company is buttering you up for something that may not be true, and no they don't have a company waiting to buy your story.  They don't.  They may have access to production companies that are always interested in story lines, but no - there is no one waiting for yours.  That's not how this industry works.

Branding Nemo volunteered to write the screen play because this is what they do but it would cost me money for this service.  Well no, they aren't volunteering to do anything if they require a fee to do it.  Volunteering expressly means there is no fee for performing a service.  What they are doing is offering to write a screenplay for a fee.

Take classes to learn how to write a screenplay yourself.  You are simply the best person to tell this.  Make sure you control the story and the screenplay in its entirety.  Don't let any company like this get a hold of any part of your story, or someone will steal the plot.  You may wish to contact a legitimate agent once you are far enough along in the screenplay process - your agent can properly sell your story to a production company for more than what you can get from these guys.

This is not a nice industry and people steal ideas, jokes, lines, etc.... and pawn them off as their own.  Even the agents suck, which is why I use the term legitimate.  Protect yourself, and best of luck.
