I rented a room to Brian after he left a place in Long Beach, after he got out of jail in Long Beach.  Why would anyone rent to a young troublemaker like that?  He told me when I interviewed him that he got a bad deal by the judge, that he threated someone who stole $250k from him, and that his threat was worded wrongly and his wording caused him to end-up in jail, he showed me one page of the court docs regarding protecting his family so I let him rent a room.  Now, I feel there was much more in those court papers and the judge was correct in putting him in jail.  I was elated he left, he had to go get a job.

I allege:

He is a thief and acts like a psychopath. From the first day I rented to him, if I went upstairs to the upper unit  to use my restroom in the upper unit, I could hear him running into my bedroom and opening all the closets, unlawfully "breaking-in", violating my personal space and property, and immediately violating and negating his renter's NDA.  I made sure all my important jewelry was in my safe deposit box but in the end now all my important costume jewelry is gone, some in two travel cases he allegedly stole.  Maybe he is gay too.

Please contact me if you heard any talk of jewelry or where my jewelry is located, pawn shop, city, etc.

I allege:

He immediately, within a week or so of moving in, stole my keys, had copies made of all of them, and returned them without my knowing, like within an hour or so.  And that before he moved out he stole a carton of clip-on vintage earrings and a case of jewelry and after he moved-out he allegedly used keys I did not issue to him, to get into my garage and back into my room, via door/s I never issued a key to him, to steal more vintage/antique jewelry.  I found one day a large plastic bag on the garage floor and dirt on the door handle, as if he jumped the fence of the vacant north lot and used stolen key to get into the garage.

Allegedly, after he moved out I saw him or someone like him (he had a strange habit of grabbing his chin when he was in the wrong) driving a brown van and that same color van was parked in my alley for weeks but I never saw anyone in it.  I believe he cased me so he could steal things that went missing in that time frame.  I felt sorry for his kids and family in a way.

Allegedly,

He stole some things from my garage, tools? and 20 pounds or so of costume jewelry, including while he still lived there, the rhinestone clip on earrings I had stored in my hall closet in a white quart yougurt carton I believe he poured into his bike helmet while renting from me, he kept staring and glancing at if I was talking to him from my hallway, and he allegedly stole the lady's red travel case full of jewelry, and lady's navy/white leather travel case full of jewelry.  I believe he stores and sells my jewelry from pawn shops.

After he left I discovered he removed the window screen off the north window to enter and exit the window at all hours of the day and night, which he told me after he left he "thought he put the screen back on ok and did it to keep quiet".

Brian Martin's name is in the Panama Papers with regard to shell companies set for iconoland it says headquarted in Korea, plus entity in Panama and one island.  A neighbor told me he had 4 laptops and he sold one to a person in Nigeria.  I read on the internet after he left that Brian owned iconoland and they used mapbox and had a person in each of 50 countries helping launch the website in exchange for 1% ownership.
