Cary Allen Cliff PA Inept 'service' Naples Florida

DO NOT make the mistake we did in Retaining Cary Allan Cliff as an attorney for a Marriage Dissolution case. In fact-- recommend him to your adversary to retain him as THEIR Lawyer.

Experienced with Mr. Cary- among several things: (1) filed with provisions we did not agree with and would not amend - an item necessary “… because of the archaic Florida Law..”…. was to put the house up for auction to the highest bidder...” – irrespective that we had indicated any equity would be paid out; (2) also in several filed items he ensured/listed that he would be paid his fees out of various equities involved; (3) more - he would not return email questions; (4) on telephone conversations he would refuse to explore actions/options – like contacting the opposing lawyer, or if he did, would not share the conversation/s; (5) he display no empathy for the client; (6) no pro-active advice to better the clients situation- in fact the opposite – like advice to “buy boxes and help him pack to move out – don’t stop or contend the other parties personal bills being paid (entirely by his client) ...”;  (7) no “Client/Attorney” relationship on/for proactive matters; (8) less than informative on what to expect in various areas involved;(9) overbilled as well – got a refund ... and (9) more...

Am I going to take this to the Florida Bar for their review – no – I thought about it but what good does that do me?.

And, did we retain another attorney – yes – and fire Mr. Cary Allan.  Interviewed several others – the wiser of this situation – and as an additional cost that shouldn’t have been incurred. Research ‘reviews’ and talk with other attorneys as well.
