I am here to write a report on a Luxury property my Employer in Mexico had the displeasure of leasing. He was summarily scammed out of 23,000 dollars he had on deposit!   The property is: Casa Guacamayas 11A Riviera Nayarit   Which is located in Nuevo Vallarta, El Tigre, Paradise Village...

My employer rented this property and was supposed to have access to 3 full levels of the property and he was basically only able to to use 1 or 2 floors maximum! This is because on one level they were doing work on the terrace and on the lower level in the Theater room it was flooded due to a hurricane that occurred mere days after my employer moved himself in.

This hurricane actually flooded the theater room the lowest level of the house, which was the Full and sole responsibility of the owner. It was horrible for my employer, it actually started to mold up, which is very unsanitary and unsafe, especially any black mold. He had his small son around and ultimately had to vacate early due to the unlivable conditions in the property.

The owners of the house were very slow to take any action to remedy the flooding and simply left it far far to long which ultimately meant my employer had to vacate the premises due to the unlivable conditions of the property.

In an unrelated event my employer had elected to add a soft water system to the property with the full acknowledgement and permission of the property owner. Which he was to remove when he left which he did and in fact he left the property in better condition then he received it in. At some point there was a pipe break in this system, but this was not impacting the flooding from the hurricane, yet the property manager\owner decided to conflate these two independent events and used this to incorrectly decide to keep my employers 23,000 dollars.

My employer was in effect absolutely ripped off and scammed by the property owner conflating two unrelated events, so in effect they are simply lying to find a way to keep my employers 23,000 dollars to pay for the damage of the hurricane damage that only they are responsible for. My employer is completely blameless for the hurricane damage and the soft water system is a was totally unrelated, thus the owner in effect stole the deposit and lied by conflating unrelated details to keep it.

So it is reported here so that anyone that thinks about buying, renting or leasing this property can be warned to beware. This particular property is not worth dealing with as you could end up losing money in a potentially rather unscrupulous manner.    Tony...
