CheapAssLeads.com Parent Company; A Lazy Cow Media Company I paid $900 for 50+ real estate buyer and seller leads. San Diego California

I hired CheapAssLeads.com to supply me with 50+ real estate buyer and seller leads per month. I choose this company because they said they have an online presence in all markets and could generate leads quickly.

I paid $900+ to get my first months worth of leads knowing that my 37 years of experience as a full time Realtor would enable me to close at least one lead and pay for the service. I am now over three weeks into the "lead generation service" and have not received a single inquiry from a buyer or seller of real estate.

I contacted customer service numerous time through email and phone with no response. Finally I did receive a call from Kevin at CheapAssLeads.com and explained to him that my first moth was nearly over and that I had not been contacted by a single buyer or seller. His response was that 50+ people had visited a website somewhere, reviewed my information, and that constituted a "lead". I explained to him that a lead is someone that reaches out to me for information about buying or selling real estate and what he is calling a lead is nothing more than a prospect that may never become a lead. He disagreed and stated that they are all leads. I asked to have my service terminated immediately, he refused.

I have filed formal complaints with the BBB in San Diego and the Federal Trade Commission(FTC). I have subsequently checked online for other complaints and it appears this company has and is currently doing this to many, many people and they need to be stopped.
