I purchased a lifetime warranty on my Jeep Wrangler. It cost me more then $4000, my oil cooler started leaking so I took it to a Jeep dealership for inspection. They also said I had an issue with the transmission, they took pictures and provided the authorization department with everything they needed. Chrysler sent out an independent inspector who said I had a 5" lift so my warranty is voided.
I don't have a 5" lift its 2.5" so the inspector didn't have a clue what he was doing. The Jeep technitions verified there's no way this has a 5" lift. So I looked on my warranty docs and this is what it says about a lift. Lift kits that exceed 2"; repairs to covered components that are the direct result of the failure of a lift kit that exceeds 2".
So If your thinking of getting a Chrysler extended warranty I would suggest you think twice about it. The dealer has had my Jeep for more than a month trying to deal with this. This is the reason I bought a factory extended warranty so this wouldn't happen.

They state they won't cover damage from a 2"+ lift. You have a 2"+ lift. What's so hard for you to understand? You DID read the policy before you bought it, right?
