they thought i was on hold.It started like this I hired them to file my past returns.Bob Johnson told me they would reconstruct my income by getting a wage and earnings transcript.That returned nothing.He told me okay we can file a 0 dollar return for you. That should be taken care of in 7 days, 5 business days.That day came and passed. I called them to see if they needed anything from me.No answers for a few more days.I finally called the resolution person who told me my case was not actually being handled by Bob Johnson anymore and that it had moved to Cel Mercado, she gave me his # & I reached out to him and left a msg that went unanswered.

2 days later I sent an email stating I'd like to cancel my service because I felt like I was getting scammed, because the lack of professionalism and back tracking.I got a call back within 30 minutes from Cel,unfortunately I was in a meeting, so I texted him that I'd call him back in 20-60 minutes.He told me that he wanted me to give him all of my income numbers like I had given Bob, and that he would get back to me within 48 hours, since he had 91 other people he was also filing returns for in his queue.

Today is that day he was supposed to call me back.I figured I'd be proactive and see if he was ready for my expenses.It turned into him telling me he wasn't finished,so I asked if I could get a refund.He stated he couldn't do that. I asked to speak with a manager.He eventually forwarded me back to Bob, who told me he had lived up to his expectations and it was not okay for me to be upset that they hadn't kept their word about time frames for moving forward or that he had told me to fill out the paper work to do a 0 dollar return. Keep in mind they record all the calls and I was doing the same. Eventually Bob moved to a new tactic to try and avoid taking responsibility for this lack of professionalism.

He started to claim that the reason I had no income reported to the IRS was because it wasn't my income and that it really was my fiancée's which is completely untrue and had no actual facts to support this claim.I began to get angry with this because he obviously has no clue as to what he is talking about. Eventually Bob ended up disconnecting the call when I started calling him out on these things.I called back to the 800 number which immediately forwarded to Bob Johnsons Phone voicemail. I called back on another number and got a representative. I asked to speak with a manager so I could address these completely inappropriate behaviors.

They demanded to know my name which I did not want to give. Eventually they ended up forwarding me back to Bob Johnson.After reiterating for the 3rd time what the issue was he finally caught on my issue was about the expectations and time frames they set and missed.I thought the issue was resolved and Bob forwarded me back to Cel to discuss my write offs. He informed me that I owed 10s of thousands  just in federal and that state taxes hadn't been calculated yet.As I am sure others who are looking to file back taxes know the feeling is terrifying and you just want the company you shell out 1500 dollars to actually be able to answer your questions, so I started asking questions like what I could write off,what info was needed, how it would go if I did in fact truly owe 10s of thousands, & if so how I would go about paying that if I did not have that kind of money to do so.

He answered my questions,I thought everything was fine. He stated that the 1500 I paid wouldn't cover   working with the *** to settle the debt, which I was fine with.I was told I  needed to speak with Bob again, so after all my questions I asked to be transferred back to Bob.While waiting apparently the call accidently went from on hold to into their conversation. Where they were talking negatively about me.Never Hire this company!You have been warned.
