There is all kinds of games going on during the bidding process where cars that are available for bid, suddenly, the auction ends, or you bid and youve been outbid, its differently each time. Ive visited copart and found all sorts of vehicles patched up and faked out. I saw a snowmobile in California without an engine. I dont think Copart would go to the level of swapping fake engines or faulty engines into modern cars, but I think a lot of their sellers might, Ive seen it first hand and there are numerous videos on Youtube about this issue. My problem is that Copart also, themselves, preys upon their users just in terms of fees. They say if a registration is not completed they will automatically issue a refund. My son, who is autistic and cant drive still works on cars, but has no DL to later upload to complete the registration. So some time goes by, no refund. They also dont have a phone number to call. What kind of company has no phone number to Call? Do yourself a favor and stay away. Regard all of their cars as Parts Cars with engines are no good. They are not an Insurance wholesale outlet for salvage cars. They are a retail outlet, where the cars have passed through the hands of other wholesalers(who can go to the insurance auctions) and have the advantage of being able to swap engines before sending them to Copart. There is a lot of theivery going on. Dont be a victim. I once bought a 2007 SUburban from a dealer in Alabama and found out later that not only did it have a bad engine but also a bad transmission. I found some paperwork in it where it came from Copart to the dealer I bought it from. I got rid of it though, and got my money back.

The bottom line is anyone who is so stupid to buy any used car sight unseen needs to have their head examined.
