I purchased travel insurance through Generali Global on August 28,2023 in the amount of $418.19 (policy No. 23240W0539) to cover a 13-day tour to Iseral, the Holy Land and Cairo which was to start November 6, 2023.  This was a tour through INTERNATURAL TOURS INC. 5433 WESTHEIMER ROAD, STE 600, HOUSTON, TEXAS, 77056.

Because of the war and unrest in Iseral, the trip was cancelled.  International Tours is giving a total refund.  I called Generali Global (800-874-2442) to request a refund for the trip insurance since I no longer need any coverage for a trip that was cancelled. My request for a refund was refused. They used the excuse that this policy was beyond the “look and see period.” This is a cookie cutter response that does not apply to my situation.
