Don Sonn and Professional Recruiter Associates Professional Recruiter Associates Scam and defraud us. Carlsbad California

I was doing some research into Professional Recruiter Associates and Donald Sonn (“Sonn”) and discovered some disturbing information. Sonn has a degree in psychology and was a practicing psychologist in the 1980s and even taught at National University.

In the late 1980s, Sonn was involved in a business deal with an acupuncturist, William Yeung (“Yeung”), that went sour. Yeung sued Sonn and obtained a judgment in the amount of $119,000. Sonn was incensed about the judgment and offered one of his patients $25,000 to kill Yeung. The patient ultimately went to the police instead, and Sonn was was arrested and convicted (after a jury trial) of solicitation and conspiracy to commit murder.

He was apparently sentenced to 11 years in state prison and lost his license to practice psychology. There are LA Times articles about the incident and a medical board action report reflecting the foregoing facts.

• In 2014, Son was charged with domestic violence and had a civil harassment restraining order filed against him, ostensibly by a former girlfriend.

• Sonn also has an extensive history of being involved in civil lawsuits, mainly as the defendant.

Our company was defrauded by Don Sonn and Professional Recruiter Associates when we posted a listing for more employees that we needed and was contacted by Don Sonn who altered his candidates resume to match our listing. The employees never worked out and was actually a disaster!

Don Sonn and his so called recruiting agency is a complete scam and he should still be in jail! He has no problem defrauding companies with altered resumes!  Carlsbad California
