Dr. Yurily May www.naturaldentistrycenter.com Caused Cross Bite That Resulted In Total Dangerous Malocclusion And Did Nothing For Four Years I was a Patient- Finally Gave Up Farmington CT

I have spent many thousands of dollars with a full mouth reconstruction as a result of Dr. May leaving my mouth in a cross bite [that he caused] for four years. 

I finally gave up after four years of calling, spending nearly three hours one way to get to his offices only to be dismissed with my concerns of my teeth having worn with pot holes and damage to other fillings AND being told by another Dentist in my area that I needed to address a "cross bite" with Dr. May. He did not look at the gum recession that had started as a result of the malocclusion, nor did he address the cross bite that was caused from his taking two perfectly good fillings out in 2016 and leaving my occlusion collapsed and cross-biting. 

After four years of waiting for Dr. May to help me, I finally gave up in 2019. 

At this point my bite was a big concern and the task of trying to find another Dentist to help me was quite a task. 

Several Dentists told me that they could not help me and one told me to fly to California!

I finally found a good specialist in NYC who is very skilled to restore my teeth with a very precise method that most Dentists know nothing about. 

But I was so embarassed for being left with such a worn down mouth after ALWAYS having such a beautiful smile and never having had issues with my occlusion UNTIL I got involved with AIAOMT/"Holistic" Dentists who not only don't know anything about Occlusion, but they don't practice what they preach!

There are good Holistic Dentists, but then there are egotisical, unskilled, uncaring, dismissive and bad ones, too. 

This Dentist is not the first disrespectful Holistic Dentist that I have suffered injuries from, and I am shocked given the fact that I liked him at first and really trusted him.  But over time I started to see that I had been left with insufficient and incorrect dental procedures that were causing severe wear and malocclusion. The dental work also done was excessive and unnecessary with two good fillings taken out and he literally carved away a huge portion of a tooth with the Laser used [this is visible comparing dental x-rays before and after]. My new Dentist was not impressed and was very concerned as he was now having to restore all of my teeth.

To add insult to injury, his office staff were not responsible with paperwork, and would not process paperwok as they should, and were also disrespectful and did several other unsavory things that no one should put up with. 

He did have some nice Technicians and the office itself was nice, but wow, to leave an innocent patient with such a state of dangerous malocclusion that damaged my entire mouth--- my entire mouth-- including my front teeth [chipping, wear, etc.] and put me in such a horrible predicament to travel all over the tri-state area to find someone to help me. 

I am still having work repaired on my teeth after all this time, but I thank God that my bite and my chewing has been restored but the adjustments and additional work are still ongoing until I am totally restored. 

This has been incredibly distressful.
