Elite Nutrition Price Flip Flop & Poor Customer Service Dunmore Pennsylvania

I placed an order with this company on Tuesday April 3 before 3PM EST.

The company is located on the East coast with customer service staffed to support EST calls. Working hours and contact information are included at the end of this message.

The company states that it has email, live chat and call support for issues. I tried live chat and it appears that is is just a way to send an email. So I sent an email on Wednesday and to this date (Friday 4/7) there has been no response.

I called Customer Support on Thursday April 6 inquiring about order status. The customer rep informed me that the order will ship this week and an email will be sent. On Friday afternoon, after receiving no email update, I called again at 3:05PM:

Here is what the customer rep stated:

Order usually shipped within 48 hours. The shipping manager has left for the day. The product that I ordered is on backorder.

Their policy is that the price that I placed the order will not be the price when the product arrives in stock.

I question their business ethics. The price posted on their site when they accepted my order should be the price that I pay when they have inventory.

When I asked to call back next week to speak to someone in management I was informed that the answer would be the same. The customer service was rude as if I was bothering her. Her tone was demeaning and condescending. She made it clear that this practice was the way that it is - take it or leave it!

I will never do business with this company again.

Price flip flop is unprofessional and higly suspect of being illegal.
