If you want to feel as though you matter as a consumer DON'T SHOP AT FANCY FIXTURES! When I first called Fancy Fixtures I spoke with Margaret who pushed me off to Liz because as she said: "one bathroom isn't worth my time." I then made an appointment the following week with Liz for 10:00 AM. We got there at 9:58 AM and then waited 55 minutes because first she was on the phone, and then she had to file and shuffle some papers on her desk even though she knew we were waiting for her in the showroom all that time. At that point we should have walked out, but we were just hoping to get this project done. When Liz finally came over to us her first words were that she only had 15 minutes. Really?, I said. We waited 55 minutes for you! Obviously she didn't like my response because she then walked over to Sandra's desk and the next thing we knew we were working with Sandra. Again, we should have walked out!

Fast forward... We ordered floor and wall tile, a new custom vanity, a whirlpool bathtub, double sinks, shower body, glass shower doors for a separate shower, a shower seat, faucets, 2 all mirrored medicine cabinets, glass shelves, towel rods, free standing toilet paper holder, vanity hardware, a toilet, and a bidet. The entire order came to $36,576. For the amount of tile we needed I gave Sandra a sheet with all the measurements. She calculated the square footage and she insisted that we order at least 30% more because she said the stock on these particular tiles were low in case we needed more, and besides we can always return what's leftover. Yet what Sandra ordered was not 30% more, it was 100% more - double what we needed! Once the tile portion of the bathroom was completed - about 2 and half weeks later - I called and emailed Sandra about returning the extra tile but she never returned those calls or emails. I then forwarded those emails to Liz and Margaret (since they're the owners) but again no responses. Then one day my wife called, and miraculously Sandra picked up. Ya, I get it...Sandra finally answered the phone because my wife's phone number wasn't in her caller ID. When my wife explained how she wants to return the excess tile, Sandra responded by saying that they don't take back returns over 30 days. My wife then explained that had she responded to my calls and emails that I sent when only 2 and half weeks had passed, we would have been able to return the tile. Again, Sandra responded by saying "we don't take back returns over 30 days." We then wrote an email to both owners - Liz and Margaret - but those emails were once again never answered. No surprise there!

Since then we gutted two other bathrooms using other tile and bathroom fixture places. A few of the pieces that we had ordered for the bathroom that we had done with Fancy Fixtures we ordered again for these bathrooms, and to our huge surprise they were considerably less money. Fancy Fixture professes to give discounts for each item sold. Hey, there's a separate column on their invoice marked "Disc Price." Well that discount was anywhere from 25 - 40% MORE than the list price at the other tile and fixture stores! What a rip off!

The owners as well as the employees of Fancy Fixtures - with their holier than thou attitudes - have zero regard for their customers and are knowingly ripping them off. With so many other tile and fixture places in the area to shop, do yourself a favor and DO NOT SHOP AT FANCY FIXTURES!
