In April of this year, I took my car, a 2005 Audi to Fisher Auto because it would not start. I was told by another mechanic ( not Fisher) that it needed a control module and his shop was not equipped to handle this job.  So my neighbor recommended Fisher Auto.  When I took it to Fisher, I told him that it needed a control module but he said that he would rather diagnose it himself.  I was told that there would be a diagnostic fee of $225 and that if I decided to allow them to fix it, the 225 would be taken away and it would just be the repair fee. When I bought my car in, other than it not starting, the interior was in good shape.  I have never had any problems from my sunroof or windows.

I would always have to get in touch with Fisher by phone or drop by the shop.  And I could only communicate with Betty because Mr. Fisher would not return calls. I contacted them every 2 weeks. I was never asked to pay the diagnostic fee and was told a one time that he had found a used part but it was water damaged.  Every time I came to the shop my car was sitting in the same place and looked like nothing had been done. Finally I was told that it I needed a control module which I already knew.

I called and asked Betty if I could speed up the process by looking up the part online and found one on the Ebay website.

I printed it out and took it to the shop and asked Betty to show it to Mr. Fisher. After a couple of days I contacted them and Mr. Fisher stated that he doesn't like working with parts ordered because you could not always trust the seller.  I then looked up the part using the car VIN number and found a certified OEM part which I printed out and sent to Mr. Fisher.  I was told via Betty that it was the part but now he had to research and see if he had the equipment needed to replace it.  At this time I was frustrated because it was now August and I still did not have my car and had to depend on Lyft or family to get to work and around and it was becoming expensive.

I called the shop and again spoke to Betty and voiced my concern and frustration about not having my car. I said that I was going to purchase the part and take the car to an Audi dealership to repair. I told her that I believed that nothing had been done to my car because it had been sitting in the same spot for 3 months! I stated that I thought I was being told anything because I was a female, and therefore did not want to pay the fee, but I would.  She said that this was not true and that Mr Fisher would never discriminate because of gender and that he had performed the diagnostic.  She stated she would call me back, which she did and said that I could come pick up my car and would not have to pay the diagnostic fee since I didn't think it had been done.

She said I needed to get my car the next day or it would be put on the street.  So I had my car towed to my home.  When the tow driver met me he asked what was wrong with my car and I told him. He stated it looks like nothing has been done and asked if I looked inside my car because there was water standing on the drivers side and exposed wires. And lo and behold it was!

I then called Betty the next day to complain and again she said she would call me back. And when she did she stated that the water came from a leak in my sunroof and Mr. Fisher left the wires exposed because I stated I was going to have someone else do the repairs.   My sunroof has never leaked and there is no water marks on the roof of the car which would indicate leakage.  I know this because I had a previous car that actually had a leak.

I filed a complaint with BBB and the reply from this company is a complete lie and I would be pursuing a small claims case.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS BUSINESS!! I will continue to post on social media and expose this irreputable company
