Forever Plumbing LLC USED WRONG PARTS and Never finished the repairs it's been 8 weeks! San Tan Valley Arizona

Forever Plumbing LLC was assigned to me by Choice Home Warranty to repair my bathroom sink’s drainpipe. It was leaking and needed to be replaced.  On, Monday, November 29, 2021, the technician, Phillip,  DID NOT Correctly repair the problem.  Indeed, he used the WRONG Parts – I have Kohler Faucets with “Tap Drain Stoppers”. They are Brushed Antique Gold.  He removed my “Tap Drain” assembly and replaced it with a” Pop-up Drain” assembly with a “Lift Rod”  – located at the back of the faucets –the type you have to pull up --mine do not have this hole...

 Faucets with “Tap Drain Stoppers”.  DO NOT have a hole in them and the “Pop-Up Drain” does not work!!!.  Once you drop the drain stopper in the hole, there is no way to lift it out to drain the sink.  The Tech had to use a knife to lift out the Drain Stopper. . ..  Also, it is PLASTIC and mine were all Metal.

On Wednesday December 01, 2021, I called Forever Plumbing and spoke with Deanna Gedney, Owner/Manager, to tell her  that they did NOT fix the drain.  I explained that I cannot close the Drain and her tech replaced it with a silver-colored “Pop-up Drain” with “plastic construction”. It was not acceptable to leave me with a non-functioning sink.  She said she would send out a “Josh,  q More Experienced” Tech to fix it.  Fortunately, I save my original parts to show them.  

On Tuesday, December 07, 2021, Josh came to my home to inspect the repairs. He took pictures and said Forever Plumbing would have to order the CORRECT parts and that Phillip did not correctly repair the sink. – he used the wrong parts.  He said, Forever Plumbing would call me when the parts came and set up an appointment.

Two weeks later, on December 22, 2021, I called Forever Plumbing to get an update.  It went straight to Voice Mail.  I left Deanna, a detailed message asking what the status of my repair.   She NEVER called me back.

On Monday January 10, 2022, I called back again, and this time Deanna answered the phone.  She said they still did not have the part. She also said the tech had Covid and she did not know when they could complete the repairs.  Mind you I contacted them originally on November 22, 2021- 6 Weeks ago! She made an inappropriate comment that she was afraid that I could not like the color of the replacement one.

I immediately called Choice Home Warranty.  At first, they tried to tell me they would send out another company, but I would have to pay another $45.00 to the new company.  I escalated the call and stated I would contact my credit card and dispute the original fee I paid to Forever Plumbing in November and report them to  State Commissioner as FRAUD.  Choice backed down when I told them I have a DETAILED phone log and my original parts.  Choice said it was MY responsibility to contact Choice within 30 days after the repair. – I told I was still waiting for Forever Plumbing to get the part in and they cannot send anyone out to correct their mistakes…..

So, Choice Home Warranty sent a second Contracted Plumbing Company to my home.  They came on Monday January 17, 2022.  The tech also took pictures and started that Forever Plumbing used the WRONG Parts.  They said they would contact Choice Home Warranty and get authorization to order the CORRECT  “Tap Drain Assembly” …  He took picture side by side of what Forever Plumbing installed next to the Original Part they replaced. He could not believe that Forever Plumbing left me with a Non-functioning Sink!-

****Please ALWAYS ask for and keep your Original Parts whatever you have repairs dome – you have the to legal right to keep them.  Doing so makes the repair company accountable.
