I took scores of lessons here, spending well over $7,000.00. But, Suzanne Moss, the owner is profoundly greedy. I realized the Fred Astaire Scam is to NOT move students along! As a result, students keep spending thousands of dollars on the lesson packages to move one additional pattern. They claim the names of the movements are proprietary - which is ridiculously false. 

In general, the owner speaks somewhat nicely when you are buying her over-priced $1700-$3000 lesson packages. When I started asking questions about the "Levels" and "Curriculum for the Tests to move into a higher Level" Suzanne began blatantly wasting my lessons moving me to her new staff when I needed to practice for a Showcase. Further, her actions were compounded when she discovered that my family offered to help my Instructor gain Legal Work Status - GET A GREEN CARD. My former Instructor is currently Illegally working in America.

When I asked for my money back she preceded to send me these childish & obscene text messages which are attached below.  Calling a client "sad person". As an owner of a Home Healthcare Organization, I was shocked that a business owner spoke like that to a client. She is from the UK though and is known in the community as a "unnecessarily nasty" person.

She further used www.DancePartners.com to encourage other Foreign Nationals to Illegally Immigrate to the US, to live in her basement & work for PENNIES ON THE DOLLAR!

Suzanne is too cheap to pay the US State Department to get her employees legal work status/ proper Green Cards to work legally in America.

Attending other studios and talking to others allowed me to see that it is true, Fred Astaire is all about not teaching so people spend, some well over $10,000 to learn a few dance moves. As a Registered Nurse, I assert her Instructor has Stockholm Syndrome, living in the owner's basement, believing he's "under contract with Fred Astaire, Inc., as an employee" - even though ppl who are not legally able to work in the US cannot sign contracts to be an employee!
