Gembah (Austin Texas) Trying to take advantage Austin TX

I own an established E-Commerce business. After many months of communicating with Gembah's sales rep, I decided to hire them to find a potential new manufacture for one of my successful products. But first, I set terms up front and I was very specific how and when additional fees would be paid to Gembah. I had a confirmation by email with the sales rep that we were on the same page about the fees. Once project started communication at first was terrible.

They obviously did no listen to my needs and what I was looking for in a product because they kept suggesting products that obviously would not work based on my needs. They eventually brought in a supervisor to help. The supervisor actually was very professional and indeed did help with a new direction. They actually finally after months found one manufacturer with some potential. Once they realized they might have some potential with this manufacturer, they then wanted to change our terms of service and wanted to start charging me a monthly fee of $1500 to just receive a sample of the product!

I expressed that if they would just let me get a sample and if then I decided the product met my expectations and If I decided to move forward with production, I would then agree to the new terms and pay the monthly fees as part of production costs and by doing this they then would have a happy customer! But, Instead they decided that either I accept the new terms or just cancel my services with them and I would then be on my own with the manufacture even if I wanted a sample.

All they had to do was just let me get a sample first then charge me the fees but they just wouldn't do that to help have a happy customer! I do not recommend this company. IMO, they cater to new eccomerce sellers that dont know better that they feel they can take advantage of them. Well, I am not one of those sellers and refused to let them take advantage of me. They clearly do not understand what it takes to help make a happy customer for a long term relationship. Waste of money and time!
