George Shepard is a lying thieving con artist. He is someone I thought was a friend but This man conned me into signing a PROMISSORRY note securing my home for collateral guaranteeing he would provide $15,000 immediately upon execution of the Note. We executed the note and walked out to his truck as we drove to the notary together, and the cashiers check was in the truck. Well he began saying that we needed more than the Note and that I needed to sign a quitclaim deed. Everything was so chaotic following the notary of the Note. After deciding that I did not want to follow through with accepting any loan from him he got upset and began yelling about how he already got the cashiers check and how I was making it difficult which made me very uncomfortable so I went into my bedroom when I got home and locked the door, he left later that night. This happened March 10th 2023.

On June 12th 2023 I was served papers on a lawsuit against me for default on payments from GEORGE SHEPARD. I NEVER received any money from him what so ever! He stole the signed Promissory note and filed it with the county recorder and submitted it to a lawyer. There was no trial. George won and now own my home for absolutely no cost what so ever for him.  The justice system is not just! I have 2 kids and I'm a single mother I was taking care of a 73 year old man who lived with me as well he owned the house with me. We all are out of the home and this CON got justice for being a thief.
