Harmons motor company Tom Jose Sold me a used car which was a lemon Marietta Ga

I bought a used car from a buy here pay here dealership April 15th 2022. Harmon's Motor Company is the name of the used car lot that I bought the vehicle from the same day I bought the vehicle not even an hour later the check engine light comes on.

I immediately called the dealership up to told kill them the problem they told me told me to bring it back and do to fix it I wasn't able to bring it back right away due to me having to go to work during the weekends and they're closed on Sundays and Mondays. Meanwhile April 18th I ended up taking the vehicle to get it current in emissions on it it obviously failed.

It failed for lean bank 1 and Lean Bank 2. The emissions inspector told me there was no way in hell this vehicle legally pass inspection and he believes to his knowledge that the vehicle the Monitor and codes were reset for the check engine light to come off right before inspection in order for it to pass which means that the check engine light was tampered with what they did was they disconnected the battery waited 15 minutes free hook the battery and the codes and monitors were reset.

With his permission I was able to get him to repeat what he said on recorded audio. The salesman several times as mitad that there was a current emissions from last year on a vehicle. Okay so July 26th of last year 2021 it's failed for readiness July 27th 2021 it past emissions in a whole different county interesting huh?

Anyways I took it back that week to the dealership they gave me a loaner car so they can fix the check engine light 2 days later they called me up said it was ready they fix the problem and almost immediately after that the check engine light came back on so I called him again told him the problem.

They said bring it back and will fix it, meanwhile I think a couple days later the vehicle stuck in park and it won't start, but the dealership wants me to pay for it telling me to get it over to their dealership to fix the vehicle.

With that being said I talked to several different local agencies including Secretary of State Attorney General's office has Clean Air Force. I've called a few attorneys and left messages also the Better Business Bureau which ended up getting involved.

First I called the dealership to let him know there's no way that these tow companies are able to tow the vehicle and its condition and the owner of the company which is Tom stated and I quote due to the litigation between Better Business Bureau and our business our dealership we're no longer going to fix your vehicle , take us to court.

So the vehicle has been sitting for 10 days now I'm still unable to get tags on it and it's still not fixed, it still not drivable. Meanwhile my neck first payment on this car is due on the 15th of this month which is May a 2022 of $300 and I also am paying currently my car insurance that was added on to this for this vehicle cuz I have two vehicles on my policy.

so I'm paying Insurance on a vehicle I can't drive and I'm also paying a car note on a vehicle that's unable to drive. I did some more research and they have about six different bad reviews under their website and these people are going through the same situation where there's no way they can pass emissions on their vehicles and driving around with no tags just a 45-day temporary tags.

Dealership keeps getting them every month while they're paying their bill or their car no excuse me just to make the customers happy so there's a couple illegal transactions you got illegal or no inspections on the cars prior to selling them to the consumers.

You're only supposed to give out 45 day temporary tag which is completely illegal and they know prior to selling these cars that there's problems with them that they refuse to fix or they just sell it to a customer and these for consumers fall into being a victim of auto fraud Consumer Fraud government fraud Missouri frauding the government to with the temp tag situation.

This is an urgent matter hoping and crossing my fingers that this will work and that one of your attorneys will get in touch with me mean while I'm still waiting for everybody else to contact me. I also called the Atlanta news call for Action team. they email me back they have not that they seen that want to help but they have not reached out to me to discuss the whole case.

It could take anywhere from a couple days to a couple weeks. I'm just basically worried about me having to pay car notes on a vehicle that's not running and I'm stuck with a $9,000 vehicle here through the finance or for the from the used car lot. anyways I got I also got the inspector to write me up a statement to the best of his knowledge that the check engine light was rigged prior to inspection which should help me in court.

PS I'm planning on getting this business shut down they should really know business to be open in the first place conducting illegal practices at their dealership.
