I was rushed into purchasing, because she said there were a lot of other people ready to buy. On the day before they left, her husband texted me and said I owed them hundreds of dollars for "board". She never mentioned that I would owe board when purchasing the horses, especially since she arranged for the hauler to come days later. When I asked why I wasn't told this prior to purchasing, they said it was in their buyers guide, which I never received. Since I was skeptical that they would keep the thousands I already sent, and the horses I bought, and was threatened that they would not go on the trailer without payment, I didn't argue and paid. Within an hour, I notice they posted about my questioning the board fee on Facebook. One of the two horse was misrepresented as being 7 years younger than he is, and represented as sound when he is actually injured. I discovered he was sold at an auction with papers a few days before I bought him, despite her claim that he wasn't papered. She denied having any papers when I texted her and asked for them. Despite paying TARA, she claimed he wasn't her horse and refused to give me the contact information of the supposed owner. Her behavior became extremely hostile, and she began cursing at me. I was told that I could send him back to the auction and blocked by her. More research has revealed that thousands of other people have fallen victim to the JT livestock scam.
