Jake Sweeney Chrysler Jeep Total Rip off Cincinnati Ohio

I took my vehicle to Jake sweeney on Monday Oct. 2, 2023 the check engine light was on I got a call that the vehicle was ready to be picked up and that repairs had been made I picked my vehicle up on Thursday Oct. 5th and paid 1,279.68 on Saturday Oct.7th the check engine light came on and my vehicle would not accelerate this is an issue that was not there when we originally took the vehicle in.

On Monday Oct. 9th we took the vehicle back in to Jake Sweeney and informed the service guy (Eddie)of the problem we left the vehicle and later received a call and was told that it was going to take an additional 882.35 to repair the vehicle.

My husband wanted to know why we were expected to pay an additional amount of money so it was either pay it or they would keep the car we felt helpless so we allowed the work  but the vehicle sat for several days before they looked at it for the second time we were told it was because there were other cars ahead of us our response to that was we've paid 1,279.68 already so our repair should be priority but that did'nt happen.

On Oct. 13th we were told that the vehicle was repaired and ready for pick up we were out of town we informed the service guy of that so we picked up the vehicle on Monday Oct.16th but before we paid an additional 882.35 we spoke to the service manager Chris Engle and informed him that our car has been here twice to be worked on and it still has yet to be fixed and we have too come out of pocket again he basically said there was nothing that he could nor was willing to do to rectify the situation which left our hands tied it's either pay the money or they keep your car so we paid at the service desk and left.

We got maybe 5 miles down the road and the check engine light came on again and the car would not accelerate this time worse than the last I called the service desk and got no answer so I left a message we have not been refunded at least the 882.35 and my car has not been repaired so we are out of 2,162.03 not to mention I was hung up on when I tried to get resolution this is so unfair and to think that this has happened to so many customers of Jake Sweeney and they have gotten away with this type of practice something has to be done a class action law suite something my prayer is that an Attorney will pick these cases up and put an end to this type of robbery.
