Mars Discovery District ,Krista Jones, Conflict of Interest At Mars Discovery District: Krista Jones toronto Ontario

Our startup was accepted as a Mars Discovery District Venture we were initially ocnnected with an intake advisor. Shortly after, we were introduced to Krista Jones, head of work and learning cluster at Mars Discovery District Toronto. Krista Jones was supposed to priovide assistence to us as well as insights amoungst a couple other advisors. The entire time, she did not provide any constructive feedback. She did not know basic entitiy types- she advised we go to a lawyer and therefore pay over $500. She did not assis in basic assistence in business developemnt questions or any other basic consultant functions. She was adament about diverting our company from doing anything large scale or building traction.

She is also connected with Sarah Prevette of Future Design School (a direct competitior). She fed material information to Sarah Prevette at Future Design School, promoted her company Future Design School, clearly in conflict of itnerest to an early stage venture like ours.

Mars Discovery District onboards many startups in an effort to fill quotas so they can continue to get funding for their "not for profit" organization. The federal funding they get goes first into the salaraies of the CEO, its senior employees and then its remaining employees. They do not immediately assist startups or ventures or have the intent to. 

This is a caution to all entrperenurs without privllaged or white backgrounds. Beware as this is a startup mill which will only feed your private and propritary IP nad iformaiton to furhter the agenda of internally connected people, and they will work to ruin your reputation and business in a selfish effor tot further their own agendas and fill their own pockets
