The owner sold me insurance on a brand new vehicle and did not offer rental car coverage to me. After the vehicle was hit by a hit and run the owner tried to say that I had the same coverage for 3 years when I had only added the vehicle for 2 months. I am stuck renting a car for three weeks while it is being repaired. The repair has not occurred and now I am concerned that they will renege on the repairs as well considering their estimate was woefully low according to the 2 body shops I have brought it to.

This insurance is something YOU bought, right? All the coverages of what YOU BOUGHT are shown on the contract. What has happened here is YOU bought the insurance but YOU never even bothered to READ what YOU agreed to buy nor did YOU even READ what YOU bought to verify what YOU bought. Now, in very typical sorry fashion, it's always somebody else's fault, right???
