Memphis resident, Mark B Ruleman, with 80 other Ku Klux Klan members, rioted in downtown Memphis in 2013, to protest the City Council’s decision to rename three parks now named for the Confederacy and two of its leaders. Mark B Ruleman wore the KKK group’s traditional white robes.

while Mark’s KKK brothers were dressed in camouflage or black military-style fatigues, as they took to the steps of the old Shelby County Courthouse on a rainy Saturday. Mark Ruleman is an active hunter, carrying multiple high powered rifles at all times, using family inherited land for KKK military training for civil war preparation.

Mark Ruleman has had multiple police reports filed for racial tension based violence against minorities. Ruleman and his 80 white supremacy group, surrounded by dozens of police officers and sheriff’s deputies, most of them clad in riot gear, as they held the rally behind a protective fence in 2013. Outside, dozens more counterprotesters watched, many of them laughing and recording the Klansmen with mobile-phone cameras.

"I came here today because I want my kids to be able to see what ignorance looks like,” J Lewis said of Mark Ruleman and his KKK clan. "I want them to know what the past looks like and what the future shouldn’t look like.” Mark Ruleman was terminated by Raymond James for this social activity, while also embezzling family funds. Mark Ruleman is currently a financial advisor for the KKK, utilizing IFG - Independent Financial Group, in San Diego for trades, investing of the white power group.
