I agreed and introduced him to a company that came on as a consultant. He signed for 2% of the transaction price to be paid upon completion of funding. This is a very common percentage for commercial Real Estate transactions. He also signed an ACH form authorizing the consulting company to pull funds from his account within 24 hours of the transaction funding. The transaction took 4 months, lots of resources and introductions were made to make the transaction happen. After Muhammad Mike got his building, we drafted his account in 2 tranches as agreed. He waited till New Years Eve 2023 to clawback the funds. Meanwhile, our staff of single moms, some with new borns were waiting to get paid once funds cleared after the holiday weekend. At 9:00am on Monday January 2, 2024 the funds were clawed back. Mike Muhammad told us he did not want to honor his signed contractual obligation because the transaction took too long. He said he didn't think we worked hard enough in his estimate. He decided not to pay on his legally binding contract. All we ask Muhammad Mike is pay your bills just like the rest of America.
