Moses General Contractors Moses Property Investments, LLC Investment Scam - San Antonio Texas

My wife and I invested $70,000.00 with Moses Property Investments, LLC (MPI), also known as Moses General Contractors at 19141 Stone Oak Parkway Suite 102, San Antonio, TX 78258, this is owned by Moses Rodriguez. The original investment was for a 50/50 split in flipping houses. About a week a later the owner offered a % of overall profits and 50/50 split of flips if I worked on the marketing and back-office operations of the company. I had worked with the owner of Moses General Contractors, also the owner of Moses Jewelry in the marketing of another business for over 13 years and had been helping with the digital marketing of Moses General Contractors for about 8 months. To say the least, he was a long-time client and I had thought a friend. 

We worked together six days a week for about 6 months and basically had several disagreements that pushed us to end our relationship with this company. My investment was used to cover the day to day operations of another of the owner's businesses, Moses Jewelers in Stone Oak. They had a fraud incident and sold $34,000.00 earrings over the phone, that had their accounts frozen. This is when the rapid downfall of our relationship began and we requested to end our agreement. The owner agreed to pay back the investment amount as this was in the original agreement. We received an initial amount of $25,000,00 and were owed $45,000.00.

I sent multiple emails, texts and made many phone calls to request payment. It was always, we're about to sell a property and we'll pay you, or let me just close this deal and I'll give you more money. After 6 months of not receiving another payment, we retained the services of an attorney to send forth a letter of intent to sue. The owner, Moses Rodriguez, called and asked for us not to go into litigation and we worked out an agreement of repayment every two weeks on Friday. Moses General Contractors at first, for about 1 month was paying at least some of the agreed amount, albeit less then he had agreed. But then, almost every two weeks the owner would push the date further and further, his response would be "I'll let u know when the checks will be ready", "come by tomorrow", "come by Monday", however, he did not contact us again, I was forced to text again and call and finally pin down a date of payment. Several times he stated, "Ur check is not ready, I'm very busy now, I'll let you know". This was not in the agreement of every two weeks, they were consistently late and habitually putting off payment. He refused to sign a repayment agreement. It was always communication by phone or text, I sent several repayment agreements.

On Saturday, December 14, 2019, I passed by for payment, a day late already as to when the payment was to be ready, the owner, Moses Rodriguez, threatened with this exact text after I stated I was there on a Friday and was supposed to receive payment, "Ur not welcome at the office if u make a deal they will call the cops".  I have sent several emails, texts, and called in order to communicate with the owner. He has refused all communication. I posted a Google review recently about my investment experience with the company and the owner sent me the text "I just saw ur negative review u know that review ill get flagged and removed so now u are not getting what ur claiming." 

This is the type of response you get when you request and have an agreement to timely repayment of investment money, he is refusing to pay the amount we spoke of. Beware of doing business with this company and the owner. Moses General Contractors at least for investment is a scam.
