Myknobe.com Knobs4less.com Undisclosed Surcharge Bayville NY

I purchased 50 kitchen knobs from knobs4less.com online, the amount was $210 for the knobs, $11.74 tax and $8.95 shipping. No problem. The order went through and the next day I received an email from knobs4less.com confirming my order. But there was a $30.00 surcharge. I immediately replied "cancel my order, I don't agree to this added charge." The $30.00 surcharge was added after I completed the purchase. No communication from knobs4less.com regarding the surcharge, no explanation, just a bill after the purchase.

I received another email from knobe4less.com with the same surcharge, so I once again replied"cancel order I do not approve the added charge."

So I'm done with knobs4less.com, right? No a week or so later I receive the knobs. I called and explained that I canceled the order and did not approve the added surcharge after the purchase. The representative said that was for shipping. I explained that I gave knobs4less.com my address at the time of purchase and the shipping fee was $8.75. I also explained that there was nothing stating there was an additional $30.00 shipping charge.

The representative begrudgingly said she would send it to the return department and they would send a return label. I didn't get a return label, I just received an address to ship to.

So now I have to pay for shipping both ways. for knobs4less.com's unscrupulous business practices.

And actually knobs4less.com is not less, I purchased more knobs from another supplier for less and no undisclosed additional fees.
