IF YOU ONLY READ THE FIRST PARAGRAPH THIS SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO CREATE ENOUGH DOUBT ON WHETHER TO CONTRACT NIXON HOME IMPROVEMENT: NIXON IS FULL OF $%^^& BUT COMES OFF VERY PUT TOGETHER. HE NEVER FINISHED OUR KITCHEN, STOLE MONEY FROM OUR CREDIT CARD AND OWES US APPROX $15,000. FOR SERVICE NOT RENDERED. IMAGINEE PAYING A DOWN PAYMENT, YOUR KITCHED IS DEMOLISHED AND THEN YOUR CONTRACTOR BECOMES NON-RESPONSIVE. THIS IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG.

Contracted Nixon Home Improvement for 2 jobs

1: Kitchen Remodeling

2: Finished Back Patio.

Kitchen demolishing went well but the actual kitchen remodel took forever and frankly still not done almost 8 months later. Constant excuses.

1) Didn’t follow the drawing/design plan

2) Poor quality cabinetry product

3) Delay/Delay/Excuse/Excuse

4) Called and Text over and over without a response.

This remodel should have taken less than 2-months however, since the main person (Nixon) was managing the project he added months to the project. Wrong cabinet order and key component backordered, didn’t pay the countertop person on time delaying install, sent workers to the house without any idea to what they were going to work on. Damaged appliances, damaged marble floors and paint splattered throughout the house over our electronics and furniture. After month 4 without a kitchen every time a worker would come to the house I was out of pocket from buying the items or correct items in order to complete task for you never could count on them returning timely.

Second project, February to begin drawing, planning and permitting got early start. Month after month after month without even a simple design. The Architect kept cancelling meetings and never achieved initial drawing for approval. In May we cancelled this project and require our down payment refund. He spent money elsewhere so Nixon has been trickling in small payment amounts with plenty of pushing from my end.
