Oxford Houses Tennessee Oxford Houses Inc. Oxford House Discriminates/Harasses disabled resident with Service Dog Knoxville Tennessee

Oxford House of Knoxville TN as well as the National Oxford house company has written and published a guidelines and policy manual that is clearly violation of ADA.Stating ESA animals arent reconized by the ADA.which is clearly not true. Current resident, I Have been harassed by State of Tennessee representatives about proving and disclosing my disability.

I have provided documents after documents for myself and my dog.They continue to harass me and refuse to communicate using my house mates instead to share information vicariously expecting them to pass it on to me. for the last few weeks i Have been subject of interrogation and harassment in round table meetings with my house and chapter representatives in which they scrutinize my disability and the validity of my medical documents and my service animal registry.

I have been nearly evicted every week by my housemates.They all seem to think because someone doesnt like animals they have the right to just kick us out. I have been forced to keep my service animal confined to my own room.My dog isnt allowed in common areas or in certain areas of the property. I have been insulted and made to jump through hoop after hoop and threatened to be evicted if yet another document int provided.

They have deemed letters written by licensed psychiatrist insufficient.They have questioned me about my disability and what exactly is the need for a service animal. This organization here on the Knoxville level seems to think they can just make up their own rules. They are manipulative and vindictive.I have challenged and fought all violations. I have filed formal complaints with HUD and the FHA. I have contacted local news channels and the ACLU.

This organization has reassured me that they strictly follow HUD housing guidelines yet continue to harass me. for an organization thats supposed to help people recover and and build their lives up, they sure havent lived up to that expectation they've set for themselves. Their data for success is self reported.there has been no scientific or third party reports or interviews about the success of these "sober living" homes.

There are drugs,lies, manipulation,and mental and emotional, abuse and abuse of power. Thats the problem when you allow people who clearly struggle managing their own lives, allow them to have power and control over a household and other residents lives. These houses are like a mean girls movie...if you arent a part of the group then your ostricized, attacked, and humiliated and eventually forced out.

This clearly isnt beneficial for anyone seeking to gain some recovery and stability in their lives when transitioning.
