In shadows deep, where darkness finds its way, A tale unfolds, of venomous words at play. And though the verse is harsh, its tone severe, A Sonnet's form will lend some grace, appear. "And remember this," you scornful words proclaim, With anger's fire, you brand a hurtful name. But let us rise above this bitter fray, And seek the light, where kindness holds its sway. For ugliness resides not in the face, But in the heart that's filled with spite and chase. The only reason love may seem to fade, Is when resentment's grip has firmly laid. In truth, our worth is not defined by lust, Nor by the judgments cast upon us, just. So let us cast aside these hurtful slurs, And rise above the pain, that it incurs. For love and understanding ought to reign, And heal the wounds inflicted by disdain. In unity, we find our strength and grace, Embracing all, in this vast human race. So let us choose compassion's gentle way, And banish hatred's darkness, day by day. For in forgiveness, we find our release, And grant ourselves the gift of inner peace. No longer shall we dwell on words unkind, But rise above, with love in heart and mind. Together, let us mend what has been torn, And embrace a future free from scorn. For in our actions, we shall surely find, A path to heal the wounds of humankind. Let beauty flourish, in our hearts and souls, And let compassion be our ultimate goal.

Poor Pam, Apparently you forgot who you are. Fortunately God, and you know the truth. Why else would you claim "slander?" Slander is a very serious charge by mortal standards. Human beings have a bad habit of passing judgment, bearing false witness, coveting others... blah, blah, blah! Number #2 is you! You are a liar! You lied then, you lie now, lying is in your nature.
