The owner is extremely unprofessional and lacking in class. She is condescending, has a false sense of superiority, overtalks customers when they have concerns in an effort to get her point across and "be right" when the customer is right. She is mean spirited and dishonest. The company is owned by a married Couple: Troy Smith and Mell Brittian-Smith who is a Senior Advisor for Federal Student Aid and works for the Office of the Ombudsman. They operate out of their home. There are other companies that are not managed by dishonest people. This always having to get the last word attitude will be the downfall of this company. They need to realize that you can't talk down to the people who pay your bills.

Unfortunately, the author of this malicious comment and several other comments written about other FSA colleagues and FSA customers were initiated by a disgruntled Federal Student Aid employee. She is within my reporting structure that works out of our Chicago Regional office. I truly wish her well and will continue to support her professional growth and development.
