I’ve known Paul L Benton for several years. He is also known as Luka Bayani. He was filming a short film and told me that he’s unemployed and doesn’t have cash flow at the moment. He pitched me an idea of a film he’s creating and I agreed to lend him $2000 for a 90 day loan. I gave him his time to create his film and after 90 days I reached out to him only to hear multiple excuses. I gave him an additional 90 days and reached out to him hoping that he has some good news. I called twice and didn’t get called back. After 72 hours I tried again and still nothing. I then sent out an email and a call again and still radio silent. I realized there was an issue when I called him from my work phone and he answered right away. Once he realized it was me, he said he was really busy and that he would call me back at the end of the day. That was 30 days ago with no further contact. Paul Benton took money that I was saving for a new car. This has set me back and it makes me very upset to not hear anything from him nor have an attempt to pay me back.
