On December 25, 2021 I purchased an xbox with 9 games on eBay. I hooked up my xbox and played 2 games 1 time and after that I was unable to play the games any longer. I then contacted the merchant and requested a refund and agreed to return the item.

As a precautionary measure I filed disputes with PayPal Credit as well as one with eBay to insure refund of my money. PayPal Credit issued a credit for the full amount of the transaction and eBay issued a credit for the full amount as well. Once the refund was issued I dropped disputes with both PayPal Credit and eBay.

PayPal Credit should have kicked their credit back the refund was made so they should have issued the eBay credit back to them instead they are charging me the full amount even though the money was issued back to the merchant so they seem to have gotten paid for an item that I was refunded on and are trying to double charge my account andof course they justify their scandalous actions .

That's why I am upset!!

PayPal is charging me for an item that was returned they never kicked back eBays credit and chances are they just satisfied PayPal's credit with the money from the refund from the merchant. It is not rocket science, do you work for PayPal Credit or something?

If you purchase an item it doesn't work right,it was paid for through PayPal Credit,to insure that you will be awarded the refund you file a claim with both PayPal Credit and eBay each credits the full amount, and then the merchant  refunds the money, well the PayPal Credits dispute closes and the credit kicks back to the company.

eBay's credit kicks back because the item was refunded back and dispute closed, and the debt is satisfied you would not expect to pay for an item that you have returned and you have nothing to show for the debt that they are charging for, which should no longer be a debt but a wash, then that would show an interest rate of 100%.

Really???

You paid once. You were refunded by both Pay Pal and EBay. Pay Pal reversed their refund because EBay refunded you. Why are you upset that you didn't get refunded twice for the same transaction???
