Pepperharrow Farm The owners are running an emotionally manipulative donation scam Winterset Iowa

On March 5th, 2022 an EF4 tornado thore through Madison County, Iowa destroying people lives and homes.  7 people died in this tornado but Pepperharrow Farm owners wasted zero time getting the damage on their farm out to the public. 

While the tornado was still active Pepperharrow Farm used emotional manipulation to get donations via Instagram post, Facebook, links on their webpage and Faceook for donations, putting out their Venmo, Cash App, Paypal links, highlighting thank yous for book sales from their website thatisnt due out until Apri 1st  ALL WHILE LEAVING OUT BEING FULLY INSURED!!!! 

They contacted tv stations, negotiated for a video of the tornado, fortunately tv started focusing on the families tht lost loved ones, one family lost 4 and those who lost everything  Pepperharrow Farm did not loose their house or lives and while they lost the farm AGAIN IT IS FULLY INSURED.  For years this busineess has operated yearly on gofundme fundraisers and others to build their business. 

They have it down to a science almost an art form.  I dont see that in other flower farms or businesses for that matter.  The lavender still was the most agregious until this. The editing, the language, the timing, even oh "I cant have a flower shed but we may have found one" AGAIN IT WAS FULLY INSURED ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE FARM!!!!

Their managers camper was destroyed and the glib comment on instagram  sorry Levy its gone well that may not be insured and PepperharrowFarm sure has enough money now to buy him one!!  I am all for helping people in need, during disasters or just because but this donation campaign and it was a choreographed campaign was not honest  go fund me said that it was raising money to rebuild greenhouses AGAIN THAT ARE FULLY INSURED. 

The recent post of the farm before the tornado another manipuation, no caption, no narriative just emotional manipulated data.  It may be cleaned up but it does not look like this (March 14th, 2022) at all and the huge help oh I am sure it was they are experts at donation scams!!!!
