Peter B Davy - British American Film Producer Scammed money Malibu California

My partners and I met Peter Davy and John Carl Buechler to discuss funding their remake of a 1986 film called TROLL.  Afterwards many meetings, we provided the pre-production funding of $300K.  However, the funds were not spent on the project and each time we followed up with Peter to get an update on the film progress he came up with excuses.  Delay after delay, we found out that Peter had moved into a nice rental house in Malibu and was driving a new car.  When we confronted him about spending the film funds on this personal life he came up with more excuses and promised the pre-production was getting done.  We contacted his famed attorney Tom Girardi (who was subsequently disbarred in 2022 after accusations of defrauding clients) and he assured us that Peter was working on the project.  Peter disappeared and there's no trace of him and Tom Girardi is going on trial this year.  No more film funding for us!
