Pollack Jewelers Steve Pollack, Owner (954) 835-9262 Pollack Jewelers is withholding returning our large cash deposit for a Rolex and gave us fraudulent information on Synchrony financing Sunrise Fl

1. On 8-7-22, we went into Pollack Jewelers to see the men's Rolex. The owner said he could deliver a custom Rolex based on the picture we showed to him & had us apply for Synchrony Credit. Meanwhile, we left the store to think about it & told the owner that we would get back to him.
2. After a few hours, we received a call from the Steve Pollack the owner, and he was VERY agitated with us because we did not make the purchase at that time. He proceeded to tell us that we must make the purchase that day or the Synchrony Credit would become invalid. So, we went back and purchased the watch (based solely on his MISS-information of the  Synchrony Credit)
3. We gave a LARGE CASH down payment & financed the rest.
4. A few days later, he showed us the Rolex watch, which was NOT what we ordered.
5. We attempted to give the owner an opportunity to correct & his solution was to increase the price significantly.
6. From there, we consulted our attorney, and he advised us that the statement from the owner about using the Synchrony Credit that day only was false.
7. We contacted Synchrony Credit Bank, and they IMMEDIATELY reversed the charges in our favor & apologized to us for the misrepresentation of this merchant after they thoroughly reviewed the complaint.
8. The final step was to get our large cash deposit back, to which our attorney contacted Pollack Jewelers, to which he has NOT responded.
9. We have ZERO product, and he remains to hold our cash deposit!
10. We have tried multiple times to handle this civilly. However, the owner refused to respond. Pollack Jewelers has left us only one option but to share this experience. Our hope is that the owner will see how far he has pushed us to this point and do the right thing and return our cash deposit.
