I had recently bought a new vehicle. The front wheel broke so I called my insurance company and got roadside assistance. That covers the tow. The tow company charge me an additional $150 to remove the front tire. I thought that’s part of the tow. I got towed 5 blocks and paid $150 to remove tire and my insurance company covered the towing cost. Now look at this.
I had recently got into a car accident. Totaled vehicle stuck in mud. I got my roadside assistant and tow company said we will have to come back tomorrow with a special truck. I didn’t get charged any additional charges. You got guys on Craigslist towing for $60. Why would I pay $150 to go 5 blocks when I have full coverage with roadside assistance. They are double dippers.
