Primus Canada They need to offer analog local home phone service again Toronto ON

I'm hoping that everyone will boycott them as much as possible by not buying their other services, not upgrading their services,  using their services as little as humanly possible and spreading the bad word about the company to everyone they know until they're forced to offer analog home phone service again.  I'm hoping they lose 20-30 % of their business and have to offer analog home phone service again.    

How do you know that this is obsolete equipment?  Where is your evidence?  The last time I checked all the phone companies were still maintaining their wired communications infrastructure.  In my area the phone company is even upgrading its underground cables to enable faster service. 

Why should I have to use a mentally retarded cell phone if analog home wired phone service is so much better and more reliable?  During a power outage you can kiss your VoIP service goodbye while I'll still be able to make calls.  Why should I have to endanger my own health by exposing myself to cancer-causing cell phone radiation?  Have you ever heard of someone using a push button analog home phone?  Have you ever heard of someone not having internet service or garbage poor-sounding VoIP service?  Everytime I've talked to someone who's using such a VoIP phone or cell phone the communications are so distorted that I can only hear half of what they're saying.  Cell phone calls are not secure since any idiot can sit outside of your house with a scanner and listen to all of your cell phone calls over the air.    

Why would I want to use a mentally-retarded cell phone as a "backup" if analog wired service is so much better, clearer, more reliable, more secure and doesn't endanger my health?                  

This ultra low bit rate VOIP is PURE GARBAGE. The audio fidelity and reliability of telephone communications using analog wired lines is nothing more than a feeble attempt to do things on the cheap with very low quality and reliability. The problem which comes in is this sick, sorry mentality in this society which is very obviously circling the drain, that we should be worshiping at the altar of technology and this STUPID MINDSET that anything "new" is automatically better because it is "new" and not because of its attributes.

You are going to boycott them by not buying a service they are not selling?  Nobody is going to keep spending millions of dollars per year maintaining obsolete equipment that only a handful of people still use.  Why can't you use a cell phone like everyone else?  Or if you are really attached to your rotary dial phone, there is no shortage of VoIP services that can give you that service (you'd still want a cell phone to use as a backup).
