R.W. Selby & Co The Vista at Laguna Niguel Apartments Mold Poisoning Laguna Niguel CA

We lived at the vista in laguna niguel for close to 6 years and I became very ill due to a huge mold problem in our entire building. There are other residents too that have suffered health problems after moving in. 

The years that we have lived here we have had numerous problems with mold in our master bathroom as well as a leak in our kitchen which resulted in mushrooms growing out the wall. Up until recently we didn’t have any proof there was a larger problem behind the walls or in the pipes, but after cleaning out cabinets we discovered visible mold growing beneath a sink and in a coat closet. 

In addition to our personal experience we have seen multiple leaks from other units that flooded the carpet/hallway, mushrooms growing out walls in the hallway, as well as pipes leaking in the garage.  And again, this has been an issue going on almost the entire time we lived here.

We have made an attempt to ask the vista as well as the city to provide a professional investigation/testing and both declined.  All the Vista will do is send out the staff maintenance to clean up any visible mold/leaks and put some kind of chemical treatment on our ceiling. 

I do not want anyone else to suffer through what I have and am taking legal action. If anyone else has lived here or other properties that belong to R.W. Selby and had mold realted health issues please contact me.
