SB TRANS LLC / FL The company/Alex steals from his drivers... all on the basis of, "you signed a contract" Orlando Florida

I've worked for SB TRANS LLC for approximately 6mos.

But it wasn't until the 2 brothers separated and discontinued to work together is when things went south... for the worst. 

The company is wholly ran by Alex Iskandar. And he dispatches Amazon loads. He swears he works 24hrs a day for his driver but we know that's a lie and there end lies part of the problem.

He is a liar, a thief, and an incompetent dispatcher at managing team runs/loads. 

My partner and I spent 12 to 14hrs in-between loads with NO contact from Alex, and what started out with 2stop loads to the west coast and back, morphed into our loads being multiple stop loads(8) for only 700 to 800 miles all on the east coast.

Well after sitting for another 24hrs in Texas, waiting for a load to take me back home to Florida, I called Alex and asked him, "how close was he at finding us a team load to get home"! He replied, "don't know but he'll call us when he finds something". It was then I gave Alex my verbal resignation told him I would fly myself home because I had 0/zero faith in him nor his dispatching skills.

At that time Alex told me if I resign then he would just keep my check/last pay for $1645.00 because I signed a contract to give a two/2 week notice. I then informed Alex that Florida is an "At Will" state, where you can fire me or I can quit with no notice given. And concerning that dubious contract, the worst you can do is charge me with "breach of contract" and sue me.

But in Florida it is NOT permissible for an Employer to keep an employee pay! (except for back taxes, alimony, &/or child support).

I just heard he did my teammate the same way... 31hrs later after I flew home that night he finally found a load...

Making him drive illegally 775 miles to GA. Then finally back home to Florida. Only to not getting paid on our regular pay day/cycle, then calling Alex, to being told, Oh, Alex can't pay him until next week call back??

This company is on its way out, going downhill and scamming drivers out of their hard earned money in the process.

I will file a claim with the Dept of Labor and if need be, retain a lawyer to get my monies back and expose SB TRANS LLC, this crooked company.
