Small Town Auto Engine blew less than 30 days after purchase Angola Indiana

The engine blew in the car we purchased less than 30 days after buying it.  We had a 90 day warranty and agreed to pay half for a new engine.  Once we agreed, we had little to no contact with the business or owner.  They had the car and kept saying it was being worked on and then they stopped communicating at all.  I had to file a small claims in order to get the owner, James Zeitz to respond.  From start to finish was 8 months!  After doing some research, the place is known for selling trash cars.
